Monalisa Chinda,a Popular Actress in Nigeria has had her say on the act of bleaching the skin,which she clearly sees as a stupid action.
The Gorgeous Nollywood lightskinned actress who recently Premiered her own talk show further disclosed that only women who lack self confidence bleach their skin.
During an interview with The Punch, the actress said these women are ignorant of the long term effects of bleaching that's why they do not see it as a problem.
She said:
"I think it is stupid and silly to bleach your skin. It is a problem, a big one. I think it is really bad and it shows that women who do it lack self confidence. If you think about what would happen in the long run, you would refrain from such act. It does not make any sense. If you want to look beautiful, eat healthy and moisturize your skin. If you use moisturizers, it would help your skin to glow."
