Reports from Premium Times suggest former governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio was invited to EFCC office today.Reports say he was at the office of the EFCC at around 5.20pm this evening accompanied by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ricky Tarfa and a few aides.
He is reportedly being interrogated over an alleged N108.1billion missing from the state's(Akwa Ibom) Treasury when he served as governor of the state as confirmed from an EFCC source.
