Arsenal Talisman Alexis Sanchez Injured Away To Norwich

Arsenal have hit the injury crisis jackpot after Alexis Sanchez suffered a hamstring injury in this afternoon’s Premier League game against Norwich City.

The Chilean international pulled up with the injury on the hour-mark as he slowed to avoid a sliding challenge in the penalty area.

He was immediately substituted and replaced by Joel Campbell.
Manager Arsene Wenger had recently joked that resting makes Sanchez tired, despite the 26-year-old have hardly had a break since the start of the 2013/14 campaign.

The Gunners had already lost influential center back Laurent Koscielny with what appeared to be a hip injury inside the first 10 minutes.
Koscielny and Sanchez now look set to join Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Theo Walcott, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck in the treatment room at London Colney.
The key pair will both now be major doubts for the must-win Champions League game away at Olympiacos in just over a week’s time.
